Airports and Heliports 

Abstract

This document contains the entire set of standards of the ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports pertaining to airport and heliport maintenance, rehabilitation, and operations. It has been compiled as part of an initiative aimed at improving and harmonizing the Ministère’s practices in these areas.

The objective of these standards is to provide the Ministère’s airport operators and other stakeholders in the domain of airports and heliports with a reference tool for maintenance and operations at these facilities.

The management and operation of airports requires an acute awareness of the importance of safety when it comes to runway traffic. This reality is reflected in this document by the inclusion of major safety considerations, such as federal regulatory requirements respecting airports.
